    Introduction

Blast furnace swing runner castables are engineered for the severe service conditions of swing runners, where molten iron and slag cause intense thermal shock, mechanical impact and chemical erosion. Formulated with dense corundum, brown fused alumina and silicon carbide as primary raw materials, incorporating special anti-oxidants and ultra-fine powder bonding, the material delivers good workability, excellent thermal shock stability and strong resistance against slag and iron penetration. It does not adhere to slag or iron and is easy to dismantle. Available in two grades—JH-TB8-X and JH-TB10-X—with alumina content of 75% and 70% respectively, and SiC+C content of 8% and 12%, to match different service conditions.

    Key Advantages

    01
    Excellent Thermal Shock Stability
Withstands rapid temperature fluctuations during swing runner operation, preventing cracking and spalling under cyclic thermal stress.
    02
    Strong Slag & Iron Resistance
Resists chemical attack and mechanical erosion from molten slag and iron with low penetration, ensuring extended service life and high throughput.
    03
    Easy Installation & Dismantling
Offers good workability during installation and does not adhere to slag or iron, enabling quick and efficient lining replacement.
