Introduction

Roofs for electric arc furnaces are frequently subjected to attach of thermal shock, steel slag and gas (CO, CO₂, SO₂) erosion, high temperature, arc radiation and wear of dust flow formed by high speed smoke dust in the furnace. The EAF delta and LF furnace roofs developed by JHCO adopt cement or cement free binding system using ultra fine powder technology and optimized granularity ratio. They have the features of thermal shock resistance, good erosion resistance and high longevity, are suited to EAF, LF and VD.
