Wet shotcreting castable developed for torpedo car inner lining repair. Manufactured from high-alumina, fused alumina and silicon carbide. Features good flowability, fast hardening, high strength, excellent erosion resistance and good thermal shock stability. No mould required during application. Grade JH-PS65 available.

    Introduction

    Torpedo car wet shotcreting castables are engineered for rapid inner lining repair without mould requirements. Manufactured from premium high-alumina, fused alumina and silicon carbide, the material offers good flowability for pumpable delivery through shotcreting equipment. It hardens quickly with high strength, delivering excellent resistance against erosion and thermal shock. Grade JH-PS65 features Al₂O₃ ≥65% and SiC+C ≥5%. The wet-mix process significantly reduces dust during application, and field trials have demonstrated approximately 30% increase in torpedo car service life.
