    Introduction

This rapid repair castable is engineered specifically for blast furnace hearth reconditioning. Formulated with high-quality corundum and silicon carbide, and bonded with nano-sol technology, it eliminates free water to enable fast drying and dense structure formation. The material pumps easily and exhibits excellent adhesion to residual carbon bricks without requiring a filler layer, ensuring superior heat transfer efficiency. It forms a protective slag/iron layer that shifts the 1150°C isotherm inward, significantly extending hearth campaign life.

    Key Advantages

    01
    Strong Adhesion to Carbon Bricks
Nano sol bonding ensures excellent bonding to residual carbon bricks, eliminating the traditional filler layer and avoiding “gap thermal resistance” issues for improved heat transfer efficiency.
    02
    Fast Drying & Dense Structure
Free of added water, this castable allows rapid drying and forms a dense matrix with low porosity, high strength, and excellent thermal conductivity for reliable performance.
    03
Superior Erosion & Thermal Shock Resistance
Engineered with corundum and silicon carbide, it resists molten iron and slag erosion while withstanding severe thermal cycling, ensuring long-term durability in the hearth.
