    Introduction

Thermal shock resistant low creep mullite composite bricks are manufactured from selected mullite, andalusite and sillimanite minerals, combined with thermal shock resistant additives through high-pressure forming and high-temperature sintering. The product delivers exceptional thermal shock resistance, high refractoriness under load and low creep rate. It is widely used in hot blast stoves at locations subject to frequent temperature changes, such as connecting pipes, mixing chambers, outlets and inlets. Available in five grades (JH-MRL-70 through JH-MRL-53) to match different service conditions.

    Key Advantages

    01
    Excellent Thermal Shock Resistance
Withstands 20 cycles of 1100℃ water-cooling tests, preventing cracking and spalling under rapid temperature fluctuations during cyclic hot blast stove operations.
    02
    Low High Temperature Creep
Maintains dimensional stability under sustained high-temperature loads with creep rate ≤0.8%, ensuring structural integrity and preventing deformation over extended service life.
    03
    High Load Softening Temperature
Achieves refractoriness under load up to 1680℃ (JH-MRL-70 grade), delivering reliable performance in the most demanding high-temperature zones of hot blast stoves.
